Who is suitable for Lipo-Light treatment?

Lipo-Light is suitable for most men and women and can treat most areas of the body, but as with many treatments, there are some contraindications. Anyone who is/has or is suffering from the following would not be suitable for this treatment:

• Persons under 18 years old
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding
• Kidney/liver disease
• Cancer
• Heart disease/Heart Pacemaker
• Medical edema
• Auto Immune disease
• Metal pins or plates
• Thyroid Gland Dysfunction
• Urinary infection
• Uncontrolled Hypertension
• Epileptic
• Photosensitivity
• Diabetes

Is there anyone Lipo-Light is not suitable for?

Lipo-Light may not be as effective for men if they have very hard belly fat cells that have been stored for many years. Also, if you have a BMI of less than 18.5, you would be classed as underweight and your level of body fat would be too low for Lipo-Light treatment.

What do I need to do before and after my treatment?

Do not drink tea, coffee or alcohol before or after treatment and drink plenty of water after treatment. Do not eat for at least 2 hours before or after treatment.

In order for the released fat to be burned off and not re-stored in the body, it is essential that clients are able to exercise for 30 minutes following each treatment or use the whole body vibration equipment for 10 minutes or the equivalent of burning 350 calories.

How many treatments will I need?

Results can usually be seen after one treatment. However, for maximum results, a course of 6-9 treatments is recommended. These are usually taken twice per week over a 4-5 week period.

Is maintenance required?

Light results are long-term, provided your calorie intake and healthy eating plan is stable, and you engage in regular exercise. Further Lipo-Light treatments can be performed to correct diet indulgence or target another area of the body.
